I had the privilege of producing this travel story for the Swiss magazine SI Travel. Rhodes offers a blend of relaxation and rich history. The Mandraki Harbor, once the site of the legendary Colossus of Rhodes, now welcomes visitors with its storied past. A short ferry ride away lies Symi Island, renowned for its neoclassical architecture and crystal-clear waters. The harbor town of Gialos captivates with pastel-colored houses and vibrant local life. Exploring the Kali Strata steps leads to panoramic views and charming alleys. The island also boasts the Panormitis Monastery, a significant pilgrimage site dedicated to the Archangel Michael. Symi's numerous beaches, best accessed by boat, offer serene spots for relaxation.
