Valser commissioned Swiss artist Nico Schaerer (1977) to capture the essence of Switzerland, the deep sense of origin and belonging, known simply as «Heimat». He shows the Swiss mountains in contrast to a hectic urban life. His compositions are characterized
by a simple use of colours and a subtle play with light, which create a calming effect on a busy everyday life. His photographs are his windows on the world.
They are his contribution to slowing down the pace of life, to greater joie de vivre, and to maintaining essential values.
